Well, one race down and 15 more to go! I have been keeping myself very busy at the shop and with the company in between Pomona and Tucson. We had lots of work to do when we got home! One of our motors was completely destroyed but that’s the way it goes sometimes! This sport takes your time AND money! It happened to be a good thing I have been stuck in the shop because when we got back the Olympics were in full-force. And I must say the Canadians weren’t too bad! We did pretty damn good! Anyways, Pomona was awesome! Even though we lost in the semis, we still had a great weekend and went rounds! Congrats to Chris Demke and his crew for their first national event win…you guys deserve it! The new car is definitely showing us some strong potential and we are excited to see what it has in store for us this year. Tucson is approaching fast and I still have quite a bit to do but I’m sure I’ll have it all done in time. I absolutely love the new paint job…it really stands out in the sun! This whole car is really going to challenge us this year and be a new learning experience. We were so used to the other car that adapting to this one has been a bit different but I am certainly over my new car blues. We are all really excited for the year and just want to have fun as always. I really don’t want to concern myself with points or what team is going where; I just want to enjoy myself. I have a great crew who I wouldn’t trade for the world. And thanks Kyle for coming to Pomona…you were such a huge help. Hopefully we didn’t scare you too bad! As always my sponsors are a major help in this operation, Mundie’s Towing, United Petroleum, Kendall Motor Oil, Lordco Auto Parts, NGK Spark Plugs, and ABC Recycling. Hopefully we can do you proud in Arizona! Well, off to bed for me, work tomorrow! See you all at the end of the month!
