VEGAS BABY! Wow do I love that track or what? Two Vegas Nationals in a row is just beyond me. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The weather was awesome and the car didn’t give me near as much trouble as Tucson! You have no idea how nice that was. Although I don’t think that anything at that point could have ruined my day! This has been just a great start to the year. We’re learning so much about this new dragster every race and the thing just wanted to run 40’s! This weekend was no easy thing for me though. I had a STRING of tough competitors throughout the whole race! Courtney Force, Jim Whiteley, Chris Demke, and Joey Severance. Enough said! These guys (and girl) are great racers and I never took one of them lightly. We almost had a Tucson repeat in 2nd round. A little bit of air must have gotten underneath the side panel and almost took the same one off again! Lucky for us it didn’t rip off, but we still need to get a new panel made. In the final when Joey went red, I actually didn’t even know that I had won until about 1000 feet! I couldn’t believe it! Let’s just say that we had QUITE the after-party that night! It IS Vegas were talking about. Where else better to celebrate? It was definitely a great way to start our mini vacation. Taylor, our friend Nik, and I had a freaking blast at the Mandalay Bay! I just can’t say enough about the whole weekend. We really missed Harry though…it’s just never the same without him! My crew did an awesome job as usual and worked their butts off in the hot weather and quick turnarounds. Special thanks to Mundie’s Towing, United Petroleum, ABC Recycling, NGK Spark Plugs, Lordco Auto Parts, and CC Racing! This fun and crazy job wouldn’t be possible without them. The next few races are going to be exciting ones for me! I have my home race at Mission Raceway Park and the all-stars in Chicago! Hopefully we can keep the good luck going in the next few races but I never get ahead of myself. We all know how hard these Wally’s are to come by! This little break in between will give me some time to regroup on the car and if I’m lucky, get some things caught up on at my house! Well I need to go get ready for my other favorite thing to do: towing! We will see you all out in Mission at the end of May! Can’t wait! Later!
